    Adding an empty Hard drive


    anybody here know how to add a hard drive in mandriva..i have a 40GB hard drive connected on slave

    Execute 'fdisk -l' command in Terminal/Konsole and note down partitions of Second Disk. Mount partitions manually using mount command or edit /etc/fstab file to automount partitions at boot up.
    If Second Hard Disk is not partitioned/formatted, you have to do that first.

    Post output of 'fdisk -l' command here.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
