Where is my Synaptic Manager

I downloaded Synaptic and cannot find it in any menu. If I goto its file and run it it runs just fine just no link to it in any menu.

I am very new to Mandriva.

Try logging out then back in, then check to see if it shows up. If that doesn't work, you can add it to your menu by right-clicking the menu button, then choosing Menu Editor.
