download and install bluez libs kbluetooth and your dongle should work

try this for installing packages

I also had problems with the blue opal - I replaced it with an MSI BToes which works brilliantly with all my bluetooth peripherals (even my mogo mouse).
(maybe I shouldn't say as it could be advertising - but here goes cclonline to whom I have no connection but do buy many items from have the MSI at a very reasonable price and last time I looked free postage). Hope this helps.
