Configuring MySQL & PHP for OpenEMR

    http://www.linuxforums.org/forum/ser...w-install.html

I finally did http://localhost/openemr/setup.php and it opened the following window:-

    Synitech OpenEMR Setup

Welcome to Synitech OpenEMR. This utility will step you through the configuration of OpenEMR for your practice. Before proceeding, be sure that you have a properly installed and configured MySQL server available, and a PHP configured webserver.

    [Continue button]

but pressing continue button brings back to the same window!!!

How do I make sure that MySQL server is installed and available and PHP server is configured??

    Please help..

It worked.. but some missing pieces..

    As suggested in http://www.bradymd.com/appliance/manual2/#0.Instructions%20for%20Building%20the%20OpenEMR%2 0Appliance|outline
I removed php5 and install php4 and it worked
I got beyond the continue button and a screen for password and local host server setup after setting firewall..

but the next screen is stuck at:

    Synitech OpenEMR Setup

    Step 3

    Connecting to MySQL Server... OK.
    Creating database...
Fatal error: Call to undefined function: mysql_create_db() in /var/www/html/openemr/setup.php on line 129
