MythTV help please!
I don't know how to set up MySQL and MythTV. It seems to me as the most complicated thing in the world. If I hate something, that must be a Linux application without proper documentation.
I have enabled the mysql and mythbackend in Control Center.
When I'm trying to run MythTV-Setup, I can't connect to the database (even if I don't need any kind of databases for recording from a TV).
I don't know what should I have to do.
Please give me a step-by-step instruction how to set up database and MythTV. Thanks in advance! If you need a CD/DVD catalogizer, give a try to my program:

Piece of junk
I did something, but I don't know what: I started mysql with root password and in MythTV-setup I could start some process, still I'm getting error "backend server is not connected"
I don't know, are they writing programs for Martians?
I should have to know how to use MySql, how to handle servers...
Thats what I hate in Linux: make simple things overcomplicated!
Any idea?If you need a CD/DVD catalogizer, give a try to my program:
