What if any Wireless Network cards (USB or PCI) for my Desktop will Mandrake 10 Community auto detect?

Auto detect? hmmm.... but most of the cards out there are now useably in linux with either the ndiswrapper(gpl(free)) or the driverloader that will cost a bit of green....
both drivers just load up the windoz driver and port it to linux see

Also linksys is suposed to have a usb wireless nic that is just suposed to work without any drivers but it is wireless b (wusb11)

(and i wonder if the wusb54g works also but i dont know yet...reasearch it)

Thanks for the info. I have tried both ndiswrapper and linuxant but they don't support my wireless card. I will buy one of the supported cards. Thanks a million for your reply.

i'm using a netgear ma101 w/ no problem. but i wouldn't recommend it. i have had problems w/ it in windows and linux, it's just not a reliable card.
