This has to be one of the worst releases ! RC 1 had few bugs that this final. Someone didn't do a very good job of checking out the code....

Mandriva 2008 Power Pack

That's too bad... I hate to hear that they have another bad release.
What problems are you running into?
I've also read that the latest OpenSuse is laden with bugs.

I personally think both Mandriva 2008 and openSUSE 10.3 are very good releases. I've used them both since the development releases and I am pleased with the final outcome and most of the reviews posted so far on the web are very positive. Obviously no distro is perfect and one thing I have noticed about distros is that some will work fine for other people and not so well for others, but that does not necessarily mean that the release "is the worst". It just means that the distro does not work very well with your hardware configuration.
