    Red face Mandriva 2008 new printer

    i have installed mandriva 2008 today. i have a xerox printer with an ethernet port instead of usb.
    Can someone help me installing my new printer?
    i am new to linux.

    Check OpenPrinting.org for information on your printer and its capabilities under Linux.

    If you are running KDE on your machine, you can probably use the KDE Printer Administrator tool for setting up your printer. Just follow the guided installation routine. Otherwise, you can direct your web browser to localhost:631 to use the built in CUPS printer installer.
