    Can an ext3 partition be located before an ntfs?


    Is it some kind of order among partitions. Can I place an ntfs partition behind an ext3 partition, or should I create it before the existing ext3 ?

    It shouldn't matter where the ntfs partition goes.
    If you are installing Windows, that should be installed first, on any partition.
