Grab this driver:
http://linmodems.technion.ac.il/pack...19_01_2007.tgz

1. Install the kernel-source package
2. Extract the intel-536EP-2.56.76.0_19_01_2007.tgz
3. Go to that folder and open Konsole
4. # make clean
5. # make 536
6. # make install
7. Optionally reboot the system.
8. Using Kppp query and setup the modem and the dial-up network.

It works like a Swiss-clock!
