Grub ediiting

Hi,

I have updated my Mandriva 2008.
Now when i reboot i see two more options apart from

Mandriva boot 2008
Mandriva boot 2008 (safe mode)
Windows Xp

DESKTOP 2.0.6.1

Desktop 2.0.something
and when i select then
it boots to mandriva

how to edit and remove these options.And first of all what are these

Go to a konsole and run:

gksu kwrite /boot/grub/menu.lst

...edit file as desired, and save.

And first of all what are these

I have no idea... it's your machine and menu.lst so you tell us.
