Gigantic font issue
Hey Linux Forums, havent been in far too long
. Anyways, on to the issue.
Whenever I run XFdrake to configure my monitor I use the test button to make sure everything is correctly set. Lately, however, whenever I hit the test button, instead of the small window surrounded by colored bands it fills the entire screen! and has 30some pt font saying "Is this the correct resolution? Exiting in XX seconds.".
This came about after I had the monitor configured for months so it wasn't an issue and I ignored it up until now. So yesterday I decide to try out the KDE4 beta (RC2). To my surprise it was also sporting 30pt in every window. The fact that it happened before in XFdrake makes me pretty sure it's not an error in KDE4 per se, but you decide. I would appreciate any help you can give me with this
.

But I have notices that I can run KDE4 apps under kde3 fine and have no font issues.
What's the KDE4 control panel anyone? Someone out there please halp :'/.

If you are running Compiz, the problem could be related to that.
