    Cool

Post the output of the lspci command in Konsole, please. You must determine the chipset/brand first.
If you need a CD/DVD catalogizer, give a try to my program:

    Now this is relevant.
I found something for Ubuntu, I'll write down the solution for you:
    1. Create a folder and put the bcmwl5.sys and bcmwl5.inf files in.
    2. In Konsole: # urpmi ndiswrapper-utils (or just ndsiwrapper if you don't have the first one)
    3. cd to your newly created folder and type: ndiswrapper -i bcmwl5.inf
    4.Type: ndiswrapper -m
5.To the /etc/modprobe.d/blacklist put the following line:
    bcm43xx
(you can do it visually with kate etc/modprobe.d/blacklist or if with gedit if you're using Gnome)
    and into /etc/modules add line:
    ndiswrapper
    (The same procedure)
    6. Reboot the system.

Please let me know whether that helped!

    Wink

If you want to copy a folder:
    a). boot up Linux
    b). Insert the CD
c). Open the Konsole become root and type something similar:
    cp -R /media/cdrom2/FolderToBeCopied /

    Basically you have cp +options +source +destination
With man cp you can list the options.
Your media address can differ from mine. Try to follow the description they gave you, and post if something's wrong. It should work. It's for older kernels, but maybe shall work with the newer.
If you need a CD/DVD catalogizer, give a try to my program:

    HowTo?

If you've copied the folder, don't close the Konsole, just follow the commands they gave as root (with command su and a # sign)!
    6. #cd /root/ASL-25020
    #make clean
    #make all
[root@CNXT ASL-25020]# pwd ,should give as answer:
    /root/ASL-25020
