Has anybody got a working bcm4312 card with mandriva 2008.0 if so how and where is the firmware. Tried with bcmwl5 mandriva says i have no hardware that supports it, tried bcmwl5a and 6 all with the same result. Ndiswrapper does not work. Also had problems with Suse 10.3 and found sabayon to be a total nightmare. At the moment I am using A USB from edimax with RT73 drivers but would like to use the installed Bcm4312. Any help greatly appreciated.

Sorry also on a completely different note how do I enable 2008 to accept root logons. I remember the same lockout with 2007 but there was a work around but I cannot remember what it was.
