Sorry, but you aren't giving enough information for anyone to know what the problem might be. Please give more details about what happens when you try to play music cds.

Although you haven't provided much information about your problem, it could be related to which sound server you're using. ALSA is recommended (by me
) and it's probably just a case of turning up the volume.

I put a CD into the drive, close it and then wait and a box appears called "Audio CD-KDE Deamon" which asks me what i want to do.
I select play and then click on ok.
A few moments later another box appeared called play.
It contains the name of the CD and the singer's name but i can't hear nothing?
How do i go about selecting "ALSA" and turning up the volume please.
