    You'd have to decide for yourself if you need to add PLF. If they have files that you need, you'd probably have to add it to get the files.

    I used to add it back when I ran Mandrake.

    I think you should setup all the plf repositories. They include software thats not usually shipped by Linux distros due to legal reasons e.g. multimedia codecs.

    Many of the files provided by the plf repositories are not in the release because many of them either violate US copyright or can be used to violate or bypass US copyright law. If you don't live in the US, then this isn't an issue for you. I live in the US and It isn't an issue for me....... .....for most things.
    Libraries like libdvdcss are needed if you want to use kaffeine to be able to play back DVD's. This file can be found at plf. There are many examples, but if you add the plf into urpmi, then you can decide on the fly.

    Free the Penquins!! Use PLF.
