I have a very low display quality can you help me?
Hi I am new in Linux, 2 days ago I installed Mandriva with KDE.
The screen display is very low. I push the setting up to 1600x1200, in 76hz but it doesn't change anything. It seems to be in 800x600...
I think the driver is installed because in the displays setting it reconize my graphic card.
Does anyone has the same problem? What can I do?

Actually I changed the setting to "automatic" and now it is really much better
it seems like 1200x800
But is it a way to do it manualy? I d like the resolution to be a bit much higher like 1200x1000...

Try using XFdrake to configure your graphics settings. You can access it by entering the command XFdrake or running the Mandriva Control Center (Configure Your Computer).
