    Need File server help....PLEASE!

    Ok hers the Situation Cant get my windows machines to see the samba server:
    3 Machines:
    Windows XP Pro
    Windows Vista Ultimate
    Mandriva 2008(This will be acting as my server)

    I cant get this too work
    I have them all in the same workgroup. The XP box can see the server and thats it. I have tried google and everything and cant find any good tutorials or anything. If anybody has a step by step, can talk me through it or has any good tutorials please let me know. I am using webmin to administer Samba Im a newb so I dont know how to config the conf file

    That sounds like more of a Vista issue since your XP box is having no problems. I know that there was a network printer bug in vista, but I haven't encountered any issues with normal samba shares. (To be clear, I've had very little interaction with Vista.)
