How do I setup internet through router,
I have static ip and that is what i have to use, no dhcp allowed, since i'm running a web server.
my router is wgr614 v7, and mandriva 2008.0 free
i can connect through cable to my router, i'm not using wireless
what configurations need to be made on router and mandriva???

Do you have the manual for the router? You can probably get
it at their web site. You need to configure port forwarding.
How is Port Forwarding Configured?
Also, somewhere in the router's configuration pages, you will be able to
set aside a block of addresses that will not be handled by DHCP. Give your computer a static address from that block.
