    wireless-Belkin54g-bcm43xx-help please

    I installed Mandriva 2008.
    I have a Belkin wireless nic card.
    I have ndiswrapper wrapper installed.
    The bcm43xx driver is installed.

    In the 'configure your computer' program, my machine seems to see the nic but it doesn't connect.

    what do i do now?

    this driver does not always work you must blacklist it in order to use ndiswrapper

    It is blacklisted....
    Here's my modprobe.conf

    alias sound-slot-0 snd_cs46xx
    install scsi_hostadapter /sbin/modprobe sata_sil; /sbin/modprobe usb_storage; /bin/true
    install usb-interface /sbin/modprobe uhci_hcd; /bin/true
    install ide-controller /sbin/modprobe piix; /bin/true
    blacklist bcm43xx
    alias eth1 dmfe

    download the f5d700 belkin driver ,extract the files ,locate the inf system file and use it with ndis wrapper
