    Mandriva linux 2008 Installation

    Dear friends,

    I have a problem related to the Mandriva 2008 installation. I have downloaded the OS from mandriva official site to CDROM. When i have inserted and followed the instructions it is booting and from the ram and it show the login screen and then it disappears. I am unable to use that . Could anyone suggest me what could be the problem.
