I have just switched to mandriva from fedora 7. After installing mandriva its running on terminal mode. NO GUI support is comming. I have tried to change process levels as init 7 or inittab 7 as it works in fedora ( alt + ctrl + f7 is gui tty for fedora) but its not working for mandriva. Please help me out!!

Login to the command line as a normal user and run the command "startx". Does a GUI run? If not, login as root and run XFdrake to reconfigure your graphics settings. If a GUI starts, edit /etc/inittab and change
toCode:id:3:initdefault:
Code:id:5:initdefault:
