Wireless connection - encryption
Hi. Can anyone help?
I've succesfully loaded Mandriva 2008 except for one problem - accessing the internet via a USB wireless connection (belkin g+ mimo adsl). The problem lies with the encryption. My network is encrypted using a WPA Pre-Shared Key. I have changed the setting in Netwoprk Settings from the default Open WEP; I have even reloaded Mandriva and ensured that WPA PSK was chosen then BUT it always defaults back to Open WEP

It does see the network and I even got it to connect once although it has refused to do it since - I really like Mandriva but this is really winding me up!! Please help.............

Some types of cards don't have WPA support when using Linux, so you may have to revert to WEP.
