    Using WINE to run a windows app.

    I'm trying to run a windows application known as millenium. when I type "wine iiirunner.exe" Name of executable for the program) it brings me to an error message that says:
    "Could not find valid Virtual Machine, you may need to reinstall supported java machine".

    I've installed java twice, and have installed the windows version through wine (though i'm not sure if it worked). am I doing something wrong?

    some programs do not work with wine what does that program do can you not find a linux alternative
