It seems your advice to use OpenDNS was very good. For some routers (mine obviously) the nameresolution seem to work in some cases, but not in others. The problem seem to be that forwarding of the request to the 'real' dns. So for future users with this problem, first try to use the OpenDNS as your dns, if that works your problem is solved.
