copy paste and save while downloading

Hi,
Im new to linux and im using madriva spring 2008 and im running it under windows.

I have problems to copy a file and paste it in a local drive, when i click on paste url, it says acces denied. The local drives are formated in fat32. I can only paste files on the desktop.
Also when i d.load something, if i choose a place to save the file, the d.load does not begin.

Could someone help me?

this is hard to diagnose given the information you've provided.
At first it sounds like you are trying to save files to a directory your user does not have write permissions in. Could you provide a little bit more information on what you are doing? Where are you trying to download to etc.
