    Booting from a cd?

    Ok I have mandrake waiting to be installed onto my laptop but it wont boot up. Is there anyway to boot from a cd manualy?

    yes, you have to go into the bios. Google "how to boot up by a cd"

    You don't say too much about your system, version, etc...

    But I do know that certain versions of Mandrake, namely 10.0 community, had problems booting from CD1. Try CD2.
