Use your package manager to get Dvd rip or Acid Rip.The package manager will take care of the dependencies. For cds there are many rippers, try using google to get info and again use your package manager to install.Grip is a good one and so is Asunder. You will need to ensure that you have lame installed to make mp3 files and also you will need libdvdcss to rip encrypted dvds.Good luck.

DVDrip is a PLF package! You need to add the PLF repositories first!

Make use of the easy urpmi site (search for easy urpmi on google, or use this link)
    http://easyurpmi.zarb.org/
Follow the steps given on the site.
    Click the "Add plf medias".
You now have the PLF medias on your system. And can install software from them, following your normal software install procedure.
