Printer Seen, not configured
I'm a relatively new linux user, but I just decided to throw caution to the winds and download the Mandrake 10.1 Beta. It installed fine, I'm on the internet -- seems sound.
Except for one thing:
I hooked up my Epson Stylus C-82 to the USB port, and went into Hardware Configuration mode. It auto-detected my printer immediately, and sent me to the configuration script. I went through both autoconfiguration, and manual, but both times the script ended with "Configuration failed" and no further explanation.
Is there anything I can try to get around the auto-errors? Should I try Fedora?

Try using CUPS rather then printerdrake. I usually have better luck with it.

My real problem seems to be that I can't access localhost port 631. I'm really stumped on this one.
