i dont know the linux kernel include directory where is it in mandrake?? or is there a place for me to download iproute rpm? also what is the difference between iproute and ip route2?

Kernel source is usually in /usr/src/<kernel version> You may have to install it from your CD's.
Google for iproute + rpm and you'll find what you're looking for.

hey thanx for the help it seems i didnt have kernel sources installed i thought it would get installed automatically in mandrake setup so anyways thanxx..
by the way i cannot find mdk 10 rpm package for iproute on the net..

If you have the disks, it's on there. Otherwise use urpmi.
