    internet problems in mandriva 2008.0

    I have recently installed mandriva linux and everything works great. When i got to the part to install my new wireless card I THOUGHT it worked. When i went to configure the internet it showed the card ( D-Link DWA-542 rangebooster N ) but i can not configure it. All it does is show it.

    My computer is:

    Acer aspire M1100
    AMD athlon 64 X2 dual core processor
    2.00 gb of ram
    and is dual booted with windows vista home premium and mandriva linux 2008

    Any help would be great (im new to linux) im going to keep trying though.
