    Problem with netgear

I am currently having a problem with my Netgear WG111v2 wifi receiver on my Mandriva Linux install. For a while it was picking up my wifi signal coming from my router, then last night, it just stopped. It still reads the receiver, but no longer my wifi network. Can you guys help?

The problem I have with wireless is: when I am home I connect fine no problems. When I visit my friend who has a similar router Netgear 54G, I can't connect from Mandriva. I have no problems connecting to my friend's wireless network using XP. Does anyone know what could be happening?

Replying TheMaliceDoctor - when it happened to me, it often sorted itself out after logging out and logging back in again. Worst case scenario - get the latest kernel. I am not an expert in these things though.
