I have a rackmount system with an Intel® Desktop Board CA810E. Mandrake 10 fails to work with the onboard ethernet (identified as ether express pro 100s). A knoppix liveCD works fine, so the onboard NI is ok.

Initially, eth0 would come up at boot, but after last install it fails.

When I run lsmod, I get two consecutive lines that read:

eepro100 29740 0
mii 4992 1 eepro100

I check /lib/modules/2.3.6-7mdk/ and see following modules:

.ccwmap
.dep
.description
.ieee1394map
.inputmap
.isapnpmap
.pcimap
.symbols
.usbmap

Not sure where to go from here.
