    gparted closes

    hi
    I installed gparted on my system and it has the problem that it closes down after every operation completes(fortunately)or more clearly i would have to open it two times for formatting my pen drive and then marking it boot and again if i want to do something else.I have had this problem with different installations of the same os ie mandriva 2008.1 i had asked for an alternative and i got the suggestion to use the internal partition manager.This may sound naive but i dunno how 2 use it for pen drive.If there is some better option please......

    You could try running it from a terminal/konsole to see if it might throw any errors that would reveal the problem.

    Otherwise, I personally recommend using the PartedMagic LiveCD for your partitioning needs.
