Problem installing Mandriva on (software) RAID
I'm trying to follow the instructions at Information Security News: Howto: RAID1 on Mandriva to install Mandriva onto a RAID system.
When I get to step 7 Click Add To RAID with md0 I get a pop-up saying that required package mdadm is not installed, do you want to install it, but it is installed - but only root can find the binary...
So is it because the Live Installer is not running as root? I tried starting it from a shell as root, but it still gives the same error. How do I get round this?Code:$ mdadm bash: mdadm: command not found $ su # mdadm Usage: mdadm --help for help #
