    Accessing 'My Documents' in Mandriva

    My windows crashed and I am running Mandriva off a CD. I have important files in the Windows My Documents folder which I need to access. When I searched for those files, none of them are coming up.+ the root directory shows as locked. Please can someone tell me how I can access the 'My Documents folder.

    Thanks

    Hi and Welcome !

    Have you mounted Windows Partitions? Open Terminal/Konsole in Mandriva and execute this
    Code:
    su -
    /sbin/fdisk -l
    df -h
    Post output here.

    * Its small L in fdisk -l.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
