SKYPE under Mandriva - no audio
It was a pleasant surprise as to how easily Mandriva installed Skype. However, when I go to Options to set up audio or make a test phone call, Skype has no audio (I otherwise, have sound). Mandriva recognizes my Webcam but there is no video. For now I will be happy to get audio in Skype and then worry about video.
Could anyone help me setup Skype correctly under Mandriva?

1. In System Settings you'll have to disable PulseAudio server
2. In Skype Options/Audio devices select your sound card for all.
3. Make a test call.
Maybe some other applications are also set to operate with PulseAudio, and you'll have to switch them to ALSA instead. If you need a CD/DVD catalogizer, give a try to my program:
