Sound effects for linux?
Hello everyone,
I have a wierd question. "Misery" is on TV, and I'm remembering that the book was what originally made me want to be a writer (I'm sick or something). I think it was King's depiction of the process-"looking through the window in the page", etc.
At any rate, I was just thinking about the differences between working on a typewriter like I once did, and using a PC. I thought it might be cool to get some old fashioned typewriter sound effects for my linux box- where I do my writing. Preferably they'd cover everything- keystrokes, "carriage returns"- the whole deal. The sound of paper being moved upward on the carriage bell would be a bonus. The louder the better. Anything like that out there?
I'm on Mandrake 10 using KDE.
Thanks!
