[SOLVED] kernel source in mandriva 2008.1
im having trouble installing the kernel source in mandriva 2008.1...when i install the kernel source, it gives me a custom kernel and says that my kernel source and running kernel version dont match when they do. Has anyone else experienced similar problems while trying to install the kernel source in the new mandriva one distros? If anyone knows how to install it to where i can compile software, please let me know.

Whats the output of running
andCode:rpm -qa | grep -i kernel

nevermind...dont worry about it...i reinstalled ubuntu on my computer...i really dont need the kernel source anyway....i can pretty much get everything i need without having to compile source...thanx 4 ur help
