wifi connections with Mandriva 2009 Powerpack

I have two wireless adapters, Sitecom and Netgear. Both are identified by DISPLAY="" drakconnect but no successful connections. Is there a history of wifi problems in 2009 Powerpack or have I been unlucky? Is the ndiswrapper route the way to go? I would welcome any advice as I am not making any progress on my own.

I'm not 100% sure about your particular wifi adapters but I was having problems with my Dell wireless laptop and ended up using the ndiswrapper with an older windows driver for my wireless. It did the trick. I hope this was of help.

    wifi on Mandriva Powerpack 2009

Thanks for that lead. I am also looking into Linuxant's "FolderWrapper" to see if it covers my Netgear and Sitecom network adapters.
