    Screen Darkening and stays like that when I dbl clicked the Display Icon

    Hi all,

    I was trying to have a look at what I can do in the 'display' at the 'computer administration' in the 'configure your desktop'...

    I double-clicked the display icon and what happened was my screen went blank and black and stayed on like that. I had to press power button to reboot.

    Now, what can be done to rectify this problem? Is it just another bug of the KDE4.1?

    To let you all know, apart from this problem, I can live without going to that 'display' section, but it would be great if someone can point me to the right direction to fix it.

    What video card are you using? I've had trouble with that utility while using some ATI cards...Loy.

    It is an in build graphic controller (intel 810)... It is ok now. I don't get the black screen any more if I use that utility, maybe the updates did the trick.
