I've tried to install 2008 Spring to a PC I've already tried to install few weeks ago, but the former crashes are here again. I need some fast solution since I have to give back the PC tomorrow. The message from crash:

The "drakconf.real" program have crashed with following error:

It has an Intel Pentium (4) 3.0 GHz processor, but I don't know whether is it dual cored, since is around 4 years old. Mandriva recogizes it as a dual-cored system, with two identical processors. How could I teach the OS that it is wrong. Using the desktop kernel.
Help please!
