    Hello

    I'm interested about "activating" hotkeys on my notebook - asus X50SL
    Is there any way i can activate/bind/use these keys like in windows os? should i install some kind of drivers or anything else?

    os: mandriva pp 09.0

    You didn't say what desktop environment you are using, but if you are using KDE4, it's under:

    System Settings / Computer Administration / Keyboard & Mouse / Keyboard Shortcuts
