I let my guru have a look at it, he says that the problem is "very interesting, I've never seen anything like this before" and "wow, even reinitializing KDE didn't work".
Then he said that the problem is in the KIOSlave (whatever that is) and he doesn't have time now....
What is KIOSlave?
