hi, everyone pidgin is creshing it doesn't starts, and when I start from terminal it shows me this:
[zefas@localhost ~]$ pidgin
Pidgin 2.5.1 has segfaulted and attempted to dump a core file.
This is a bug in the software and has happened through
no fault of your own.
If you can reproduce the crash, please notify the developers
by reporting a bug at:
http://developer.pidgin.im/simpleticket/
Please make sure to specify what you were doing at the time
and post the backtrace from the core file. If you do not know
how to get the backtrace, please read the instructions at
GetABacktrace ? Pidgin ? Trac
If you need further assistance, please IM either SeanEgn or
LSchiere (via AIM). Contact information for Sean and Luke
on other protocols is at
DeveloperPages ? Pidgin ? Trac
any ideas?

You could try reporting it as a bug, as suggested in the above output. You might also try getting a newer version of Pidgin, the latest is 2.5.4

I still use an older version. No crashes here, however, a segfault is due to memory allocation issues. A quick google search indicates the newer version has this problem fixed. Suggest: Upgrade or revert to say...2.4x
