    linux 9 problem loadin kde


    I just installed 9.0 mostly cause im impatient and dont wanna wait 2 get cd's to burn 10. I will upgrade later but when I boot up 9 it goes to the console and I cant find the command to boot into kde or some desktop enviroment can any1 help plz?

    try using startx that will boot up an X server, then if KDE doesn't start you need to edit the X startup files and put a line pointing to kde in there. (thats assuming you've installed KDE and X-Free86)

    if not you can get RPM's from www.kde.org
