    [SOLVED] 32 or 64 bit compiler

    Hi,

    I'm looking at Mandriva distro and I noticed its only available in 32 bit...
    now if I install this (Mandriva) on a 64 bit machine will the default compiler (GCC) be 32 or 64?...Thanks Gerard4143

    It doesn't matter if machine is 64bit or 32bit. In 32bit OS, default compiler will be 32bit only.
    It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
