    compiling kernel modules

How do you compile kernel modules in Mandriva x86_64 2009...I install kernel-headers and kernel-devel with urpmf and used a makefile like

    Code:
    obj-m += filenname.o

    all:
    <tab> -C /lib/modules/$(shell uname -r)/build M=$(PWD) modules

    clean:
    <tab> -C /lib/modules/$(shell uname -r)/build M=$(PWD) clean
and it fails with "make *** /lib/modules/2.6.27.14-desktop-1mnb/build: No such file or directory" does Mandriva compile kernel modules differently?

Found the problem...should be using urpmi not "urpmf" to install kernel-header and kernel-devel...

    i.e urpmi kernel-header
    and urpmi kernel-devel

Mandriva is a little different not bad just different....Gerard4143
