How to install KDE 4.2.1 on mandriva??
Hey guys i'm new to linux community. i've recnetly installed mandriva linux 2009.0 with KDE 4.1
now i want to install KDE 4.2.1 but i don't know how to do this .

can u guys help me regarding this??

From what I 've googled, KDE 4.2 is already available in Mandriva. Just do a system update and KDE will be updated as well.
The update tool should be somewhere in the control center.
Or in Konsole type:
These 2 commands will update everything. You must be connected to the Internet ofcourse.Code:sudo urpmi.update -a sudo urpmi --auto-select

can i install kde 4.2 on RHEL 5 too?? if yes please do tell me how if i download the packeges of kde ??

I googled a bit and this is the most promising link I found.(I did not try it, I don't use RHEL or CentOS at home)
If it is a production/server or critical system, you 'd better not update to KDE 4.2. The KDE community is doing a great job, but there are still many open bugs and Red Hat may not support you if you have issues with 4.2.
Better test it in a Virtual Machine first, to see if it works OK.
Fedora 10 has KDE 4 by default
