    MDK 10, SB Live! 24-bit

Posted this in the hardware forum, but wanted to get a Mandrake specific response.

I have a Dell Dimension 4550 that came with the CT0200 Dell version of SBLive! 5.1. Culd not get it running even afetr installing alsa-1.06. STill don't know why.

I figured I'd drop the $30US to get a new sound card which is a Creative SB Live! 24-bit (SB0410), but Mandrake isn't recognizing it. I think the model is too new. The card looks like a stripped down version of the Audigy line, but I can;t find any info on the chipset or drivers for it.

Has anyone heard of this card and if it can run under linux? How can I install a driver for it if there is one? Can anyone suggest how to get the Dell SB running? I've heard it van be done, but haven't found any posts anywhere that says how they did it.
